Overview:

This course will describe a participant’s skills and knowledge required to work safety at heights.

This unit it appropriate for those working in operational roles where they are required to perform work at heights.

Suggested learners from industries requiring:
- Distribution powerline climbing
- Safe ladder usage
- Associated protective equipement selection
- Climbing on apparatus

Entry Requirement:

Enrolments are open to learners requiring a foundational knowledge about the assessement of heights, fall awareness and protective equipment. 
It will provide a overview of material handling at heights, managing of asociated risks and the identification of work instarution and procedures.
Learners will be required to bring: 
Harness and asociated pole straps
Hard Hat
Gloves
Long sleeve shirt and long pants
Safety boots
